Somerset Markets
Somerset is the heart of agricultural England which means its markets are some of the best in the country with the finest fresh produce.
From medieval town squares to bustling high streets, the markets across Somerset are full of character and boast a unique line-up of highly skilled local producers. Visitors can browse, sample, and select from an assortment of locally produced goods, while also having the opportunity to talk directly to those who have produced them. The producers are highly knowledgeable, passionate, and always happy to help answer your queries; from production processes to recipe ideas!

Traders arrive to offer the best of local produce, craft, cheeses and chutneys, bakery goods, cakes and chocolate, garden plants, books, local art, gifts, antiques and curios and a fresh fish stall. There are also food traders and tea and coffee vendors for you to enjoy alfresco eating at the market.

On the first Sunday of the month from March to October you will find the Watchet Street Fair in full swing on the Esplanade. Colourful gazebos line the front and centre of the Esplanade with areas left for activities and seating.
